This study is embarked on to examine the effect of reward system on the motivational level of employees. It is in contention of this study that reward and motivation play important role in the attainment of objectives in an organization and other business concern. In this study, such factors like workers stratification with their boss leadership style. Workers satisfaction with the organization reward system, workers satisfaction with minimum age approved by the federal government, workers perception of what is obtain in other organization in relation to their organization and workers satisfaction with their jobs are found to be positively related to the productivity of workers in the organization.
The human and materials resources of the organization must be properly utilized for the benefit of the organization. It is important to note-that, in business organization, individual are dynamic in nature, among the various resources of an organization, the most dynamic is the individual and this is because the behavior of differs. The best way in which the effective utilization of human resources can be achieved is through reward and motivation; this is because every organization has to achieve some stated goal.
It is in view of such that recommendations like sending management staff of department on human relation training, designing a reward system geared towards meeting the needs of the worker, ensuring equity and fairness in the rewarding personnel, prompt payment of salary to workers and providing conducive working atmosphere which will ensure we have the efficiency and productivity of labour and finally enriching the knowledge of worker through training and development.
